Until March 2022 MINT was one of MICDA's Community Working Groups. It is now an Incorporated Association.

 

Magnetic Island Network for Turtles (MINT) is a community group taking action for sea turtle conservation through rehabilitation, awareness and education. 

 

MINT’s small dedicated group of volunteers engage the wider community to help to respond to strandings, monitor nesting and rehabilitate sea turtles.

 

MINT also encourages behaviour changes in the local community that benefits sea turtle conservation.
