Magnetic Island Markets
Come down to the Magnetic Island Markets for a fun, vibrant and relaxed atmosphere where you can browse, meet, shop and eat. With live music on the foreshore, a range of local and imported products, plus cafes, restaurants and bars, it's a great way to spend your Sunday by the sea in Horseshoe Bay.
Markets are held every Sunday from April to January on the Horseshoe Bay foreshore from 9am to 2pm (except on Sunday 30th August 2026 where they will be held in Picnic Bay).
All stall holders, musicians, buskers and/or other market participants are required to be a MICDA member.

1. MICDA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE

Business/household (up to 4 people): $35

Individual: $25

Concession: $15
Please become a MICDA member before you pay your stall fee.
2. STALLHOLDER FEES & INSURANCE CATEGORIES

Permanent Stallholders: $16.50 per market (inc. $1.65 GST).
Permanent market stallholders are automatically covered by MICDA insurance, provided your membership remains active.

Casual Stallholders (With Private Insurance): Max 2 markets, $28 per market (inc. $2.80 GST).
Limited to two markets annually, casual stallholders are required to maintain and provide proof of their own independent public liability insurance.

Casual Stallholders (Without Private Insurance): $38.00 per market (inc. $3.80 GST).
Casual stallholders without private insurance are covered under the MICDA policy via a per-market insurance levy, payable upon registration for each event. Note: Permanent MICDA members receive insurance as a standard membership benefit.
